In another video discharged by Boko Haram, the group has said they
were plotting to capture
President Muhammadu Buhari.
The footage, described in Hausa, is
said to have been shot
some place in Borno State, upper east Nigeria where the group has its based.
The video was posted on YouTube on Tuesday and the
bunch said it was utilizing it to
convey message that it remained a solid power.
The group's leader, Abubakar Shekau, did not show up in the
video.
In the video, which was recorded
in composite to filmed two Eid
grounds, the group expressed its
ability to proceed with its jihad
against the Nigerian state and called President Buhari an unbeliever
and undermined to capture him.
"This is our eid petition from us
and, by the backing of our leader
Imam Abubakar Al-Shekau. We are extending our greating to our kin and warriors.
"Message to the unbelievers and the
leader of the whole unbelievers (kafir)
who is the President of Nigeria,
Muhammadu Buhari, that he should know we are extremely solid and
benefitingly exceptionally.
"By the will of Allah under the
initiative of our leader (Shekau)
will capture Buhari with our hands," the group said.
The new video likewise comes a couple days after Boko Haram purportedly
shown eagerness for a detainee swap with the Nigerian
government keeping in mind the end goal to discharge
the hijacked Chibok girls, a
move the national government
has said it will consider.
